The ingredient of Quick Beef Stroganoff
- 600g beef fillet of beef tail is ideal thinly sliced
- 1 1 2 tablespoons flour
- 2 teaspoons paprika smoked sweet
- 1 1 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon of unsalted butter
- 1 large onion finely chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic crushed
- 2 teaspoons thyme chopped
- 250g paris mushrooms sliced
- 1 4 cup 60ml brandy
- 150ml massel beef stock
- 300 ml of fresh cream
- 2 tablespoons of persil dish for the garnish
- boil the potatoes waxy such as kipfler or pink fir to serve
- pickled gherkins to serve
The Instruction of quick beef stroganoff
- mix the meat in a bowl with the flour and paprika to coat heat the oil in a large frying pan over high heat and fry steak quickly in batches for 1 to 2 minutes or until cooked on all sides remove and set aside
- reduce the heat to medium high add the butter and onion and cook for a few minutes until the onion starts to soften and colour add the garlic and cook for 30 seconds and then the thyme and mushrooms and cook for 2 minutes add the brandy and broth and allow to bubble for a minute stir in the sour cream steak and all the juices of the meat then season with salt and pepper garnish with the persil and serve with potatoes and pickles
