Herb Crusted Roast Lamb


Crushed breadcrumbs, parsley, garlic and mint gives this roast lamb an incredible texture and flavour.

The ingredient of Herb Crusted Roast Lamb

  • 1 1 2 kg easy carve semi boneless lamb leg roast
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 2 cups fresh breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon gourmet garden parsley
  • 1 tablespoon chopped mint
  • 1 clove garlic crushed
  • 20g butter at room temperature

The Instruction of herb crusted roast lamb

  • preheat oven to 200c or 180c fan forced place lamb on a rack in a large baking pan rub with oil and season well bake for 40 mins
  • meanwhile combine remaining ingredients rubbing in butter until well combined press over top surface of lamb reduce oven temperature to 180c or 160c fan bake lamb for another 30 mins for rare meat until crust is golden and crisp
  • rest lamb for 15 mins before carving serve with potato chive bake and pumpkin spinach hazelnut salad see related recipes
